Diehard Fans Reveal Album Cover Through Online Campaign

Lead Single “Bottoms Up” Has Sold Over 650,000 Digital Downloads

On May 19, Brantley Gilbert will release his third studio album JUST AS I AM (The Valory Music Co.). Already off to an incredible start, the lead single “Bottoms Up” recently catapulted to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and has sold over 650,000 digital tracks to date. The rocking anthem also debuted in the top spot on the iTunes Country Top Songs chart upon release in December and has consistently maintained the position, even in the midst of major new releases. Fans can pre–order a digital copy of the album here.

Over the weekend, 40,000 diehard fans helped unveil the cover art through a social media campaign. Fans who used the hashtag #JustAsIAm on Twitter and Facebook helped reveal the cover piece by piece on www.brantleygilbert.com.

Having written on every track, Brantley's first new music in over four years delivers a more personal look into his life … and continues his story.

“I have always said that each of my albums has told a story… my story, and this album is no different. This one picks up where HALFWAY TO HEAVEN left off,” said Brantley. “I have gone through a lot the past few years… a lot of highs and lows and all of that is reflected in this project. My fans know I'm a straight shooter so I didn't leave anything out. I think there is something for everyone — from my party side to the gentler stuff. I can’t wait to share this new music with the BG Nation.”

TRACKLIST “If You Want A Bad Boy” (Brantley Gilbert, Troy Verges) “17 Again” (Brantley Gilbert, Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins) “Bottoms Up” (Brantley Gilbert, Brett James, Justin Weaver) “That Was Us” (Brantley Gilbert) “I’m Gone” (Brantley Gilbert, Wendell Mobley, Tony Martin) “My Baby’s Guns N’ Roses” (Brantley Gilbert, Brian Davis, David Tolliver) “Lights Of My Hometown” (Brantley Gilbert, Brian Davis, Forrest Whitehead) “One Hell Of An Amen” (Brantley Gilbert, Mike Dekle, Brian Davis) “Small Town Throwdown” (Brantley Gilbert, Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson) “Let It Ride” (Brantley Gilbert) “My Faith In You” (Brantley Gilbert, Jeremy Spillman)

A deluxe version of the album will be made available exclusively at Walmart and include three additional tracks; newly recorded “G.R.I.T.S.” (Brantley Gilbert), “Read Me My Rights” (Brantley Gilbert, Brian Davis, Jess Franklin) and “Grown Ass Man” (Brantley Gilbert).

JUST AS I AM is the follow-up to Brantley’s 2012 HALFWAY TO HEAVEN, which has sold over 1 million copies and scored the Georgia native back-to-back #1 hits - PLATINUM “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” and GOLD “Country Must Be Country Wide.” The reigning ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year has also penned the #1 tunes “My Kinda Party” and “Dirt Road Anthem,” both recorded by Jason Aldean.

Brantley will kick off his second headline run — LET IT RIDE TOUR — on March 27 with special guests Thomas Rhett and Eric Paslay.

While still recovering from Tuesday’s party, the Big Machine Label Group and CMT Radio rallied VIP guests for night two of Country Radio Seminar (CRS) at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works. BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta and CMT Radio’s Cody Alan once again welcomed the massive crowd for an unforgettable experience.

Music execs and radio partners were entertained with a full-throttle experience of BMLG talent and a few surprises. Dynamic sibling trio The Band Perry started the show, introducing their driving next single “Chainsaw” followed by newcomer Danielle Bradbery, who showcased her killer pipes on songs from her debut album. ACM New Artist of the Year nominee Justin Moore kept the energy up with “Lettin’ The Night Roll” before bringing Vince Neil of Motley Crue to the stage for the band’s “Home Sweet Home.” The excitement continued with Brantley Gilbert joining on “Wild Side.” Borchetta brought Vince back to the stage as everyone belted out “Kickstart My Heart.” The unlikely pairings were just a preview of the forthcoming Country Tribute to Motley Crue, slated for release this Summer on Big Machine Records. Eliciting more crowd participation, Brantley closed out the evening with a rowdy set featuring his latest single “Bottoms Up.”

Impacting Country radio today, "Bottoms Up" is the first new music the Georgia native has produced for his loyal BG Nation fans in over four years. The lead single from Brantley's forthcoming album on The Valory Music Co. was made available in late December and quickly shot up the iTunes charts peaking at #1 on the Country Singles Chart and #8 All Genres. Coinciding with the single release, fans were also able to purchase the accompanying video, which was shot in Nashville and flashes from 1930’s vintage to modern day party scenes. Directed by CMA Award-winning Shane Drake, the video has already garnered over 1.2 million views on VEVO. Watch here.

The Country rocker will preview additional new material during his 22-city LET IT RIDE TOUR, beginning 3/27 with special guests Thomas Rhett and Eric Paslay. During Brantley’s second headlining tour, which makes stops at arenas across the country, fans can also expect to hear the GOLD-certified #1 hits, “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”

“I’m really excited to get this new music out the fans! The response from the BG Nation has blown me away. They always come out in full force,” said Brantley. “Can’t wait to see the reaction we get on the road.”

To help make the announcement, Brantley called on the BG Nation to use the hashtag #LETITRIDETOUR on Instagram to post photos and videos expressing excitement about the tour, and finding creative ways to announce their hometown's tour date or the stop closest to them. Brantley Gilbert's Hell on Wheels Tour Ends with Record Crowd

    April 30, 2013 0 Comments

ACM New Male Vocalist Brantley Gilbert wrapped up the final weekend of his HELL ON WHEELS TOUR with a recording-breaking accomplishment -- his largest crowd to date. Over 10,000 members of the BG Nation showed up to support the Country rocker on the final stop of his first headlining tour in Columbus, OH on Saturday night (4/27).

Boasting a trail of sold–out arena dates and shattered merchandise records, the massive weekend also concluded with a sold-out show Friday (4/26) night in Roanoke, VA.

The accomplishments are not lost on Gilbert, who said, "Man, the BG Nation really showed up this weekend to send us out with a bang.” He continued, “I couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved for making my first headlining tour one to remember. I can’t wait to get out on the road with Tim [McGraw] this summer and continue the fun.”

Music critics have often noted the relationship Gilbert shares with his fans…

“And the audience, which sold out the room, loved it. They sang along to the hits, from ‘My Kind of Party’ and ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ which Gilbert wrote […] to Gilbert’s own No. 1’s, “Country Must Be Country Wide”and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.” – The Roanoke Times

“The young, couples-dominated crowd (more than a few wearing T-shirts that read, ‘Stone cold country by the grace of God’) sang along to every song, prompting Gilbert to remove his cap and say,“’God bless you.’” – The Columbus Dispatch

Gilbert will kick off Tim McGraw’s TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 TOUR next week with shows in Birmingham, AL (5/2); Charlotte, NC (5/3) and Raleigh, NC (5/4). For additional tour dates and more, visit www.BrantleyGilbert.com.

ACM New Male Vocalist winner Brantley Gilbert will perform in Europe for the first time with shows at Glasgow’s Oran Mor tomorrow (3/15) and Manchester’s Club Academy Saturday (3/16). He will wrap up the trek on Sunday (3/17) at London’s O2 Arena for the Country 2 Country Festival, which also features Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Little Big Town and more. The hit singer/songwriter is slated to perform the GOLD-certified #1 singles “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” as well as a few new tunes from his upcoming album, due later this year.

Following the UK stops, Gilbert will continue his journey overseas with his first USO tour. He will perform four concerts and meet with the military troops and their families. In addition, Military ID holders who attend the Glasgow and Manchester shows will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive meet & greet with Gilbert.

“Man you know we sing about Country being Country wide, but we are taking it to the next level this time,” said Gilbert. “I’m excited to meet all of the Country fans in Europe. We will have a blast… and performing for the troops… man I couldn’t be more excited about that. I have so much respect for what our service men and women do every day. To have the chance to perform for them while they are actively serving our Country couldn’t make me more proud to have this opportunity.”
