Labelmates on The Valory Music Co., Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett brought out the big guns, some ATVs and pretty ladies for their latest Top 15-and-rising collaboration. The rowdy “Small Town Throwdown” music video premiered Friday and you can watch it here. Award-winning director Shane Drake shot the dirt road party just outside of Nashville with the talented Country stars and a few hundred guests. Former UFC Champion Chuck Liddell, who may or may not get in a fight with one of the guys, swung by for an unexpected visit.

The talented trio will perform "Small Town Throwdown” tomorrow, August 5, on CMA Music Festival's Country's Night to Rock on ABC beginning at 8:00 PM ET. Later this month, Brantley will take the excitement to small towns across the country on the second leg of his LET IT RIDE TOUR, which begins August 19 in Austin, TX, with special guest Aaron Lewis and Chase Bryant.

BRANTLEY GILBERT’S JUST AS I AM BECOMES ONE OF THE YEAR’S BIGGEST MUSIC DEBUTS

May 28, 2014 By With over 211,000 copies sold, Brantley is among Top 3 best-selling albums of 2014 0 Comments

Brantley Gilbert believes his albums are the chapters of his life and each continues the story where the last left off. With his third studio album JUST AS I AM (The Valory Music Co.), Brantley adds "best seller" to his growing list of accolades upon selling over 211,000 copies in the first week, owning the Billboard Country Albums chart with a #1 debut and becoming the second highest Country debut this year. Brantley's first new music in over four years also scored a spot at No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 chart, just behind Coldplay.

JUST AS I AM has received much critical acclaim from top critics at high-profile media outlets:

New York Times: “Mr. Gilbert is a unique sort of brute. In a country era where hardness isn’t valorized in the least, he’s unapologetically rough, singing with the tenderness of a chain saw. And on this strong album — his third in a row — he betrays no shame about his creatine-fueled version of country music…”

Associated Press: “Everybody in Nashville has been predicting Brantley Gilbert will be the next big thing in country music for a couple of years now. His new album, the long-awaited "Just as I Am," is engineered to make that little bit of soothsaying a reality.”

To launch the highly-anticipated record, Brantley combined his passions – music, motorcycles and military – partnering with Harley-Davidson and Folds of Honor for a six-day trek from Athens, GA, to Arlington, VA. To help honor some of our nation’s heroes, names of fallen soldiers adorned a tour bus that also made the journey. Brantley started the celebration with a sold-out concert at the Georgia Theatre, a venue the Georgia native had always dreamed of selling out, and did early in his career. The Georgia native made stops along the way to perform acoustic sets and sign autographs at various Best Buy, Harley-Davidson and Walmart retail locations. The ride culminated on Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery where Brantley had the honor of laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with Folds of Honor scholarship recipient Sarah White. See highlights from the week here.

The album’s lead single, “Bottoms Up,” previously scored the #1 spot on both Country radio charts and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA for sales exceeding 1 million digital downloads.

Featuring labelmates Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett, Brantley's next single “Small Town Throwdown” was the “most added” at Country radio last week with nearly 80 stations on.

JUST AS I AM follows Brantley's previous Platinum-certified album HALFWAY TO HEAVEN.

Brantley Gilbert Honors American Heroes and Entertains Thousands of Diehard Fans Throughout "Athens To Arlington" Journey

    May 27, 2014 0 Comments

Country star Brantley Gilbert traveled nearly 3,000 miles last week to launch his new studio album JUST AS I AM (The Valory Music Co.). Officially dubbed “Athens To Arlington," Brantley and some of his closest friends embarked on a six-day motorcycle ride to simultaneously honor local armed forces heroes and entertain thousands of fans. The motorcade of nearly 20 departed Athens, GA, on May 21, making stops in 11 cities along the way. The chart-topper performed some of his first new music in four years, including the Platinum-certified #1 hit “Bottoms Up,” and signed autographs for loyal fans. Watch highlights here.

The trek included stops at tour partners Harley-Davidson, Best Buy and Walmart's various retail locations. Additionally, Brantley honored scholarship recipients of families of wounded or lost military personnel with help from national charity Folds of Honor.

“From riding motorcycles with my 'brothers' to performing for my fans to honoring those who gave us our freedom ... this journey has been unreal,” said Brantley. “The BG Nation showed up for each and every event and never disappointed. Thank you to Harley-Davidson and Folds of Honor for joining me on this incredible week!”

On May 25, the Georgia native also competed against NASCAR driver Kurt Bush to complete the “double” — an attempt known professionally in motorsports to compete in both the Indy 500 and the Coke 600, which occur on the same day. While Brantley wasn’t behind the wheel, he attended both events where his new album cover spanned the hoods of Indycar driver Sage Karam and NASCAR driver Jamie McMurry.

Reaching a pinnacle moment on Memorial Day (May 26), Brantley received a tour of Arlington National Cemetery just outside of Washington, DC, and was granted the honor of presenting a wreath at the coveted Tomb of the Unknown Soldier along with Folds of Honor scholarship recipient Sarah White.

    NOTES OF INTEREST:

Brantley Gilbert Does the Double: Kurt Busch won’t be the only person doing the double of working both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 as Brantley Gilbert will be at the Indianapolis 500 with Sage Karam and then will make a quick trip to Charlotte for the Coke 600 where he will perform the pre-race concert at Charlotte Motor Speedway and be part of the No. 1 team. Gilbert was the 2013 Academy of Country Music (ACM) New Male Artist and has scored four #1 singles as an artist and songwriter, including the platinum-certified "Bottoms Up," the lead single from his forthcoming album JUST AS I AM, slated for release on May 19. Check out other stops on Gilbert's journey at www.BrantleyGilbert.com.

Brantley Gilbert Across the Board: In all, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams will have five other cars on the track between the Indianapolis 500, Coke 600 and the History 300 Nationwide race that will feature Brantley Gilbert in some fashion as he debuts his new album JUST AS I AM. Sage Karam Behind the Wheel: American Sage Karam started all 12 races of the 2013 Indy Lights series, winning three time on his way to claiming the 2013 Indy Lights Championship, making him the eighth driver to claim the title in their rookie season, as well as becoming the youngest Indy Lights Champion in history at 18 years old. At age 15, he won the 2010 USF2000 Series Championship as well as the Rookie of the Year award. QUOTE BOARD:

Scott Borchetta, President & CEO, Big Machine Label Group: “Sage has shown remarkable speed, smarts and bravery behind the wheel. I think he has what it takes to compete at the highest levels in open wheel racing and may just be the next American driver to run down the big boys at Indianapolis. We have also developed a great relationship with everyone at Ganassi. These guys have so many different assets for a sponsor to consider but I think what is most impressive about them is that they really think outside of the box and understand the types of marketing ideas that are important to us. We can’t wait for this month to really get going in both Indianapolis and Charlotte.

Michael Fux, CEO, Comfort Revolution: “I’m very excited to see Sage drive in the Indianapolis 500. Sage is an excellent driver, totally fearless and has great natural ability. With the Indianapolis 500 being his first race in an Indy car, nobody will expect him to do well……but I think he is going to surprise everybody. I’ve been watching him since he was 14 years old and have always been very impressed with his skill set. Seeing him reach this step on the INDYCAR ladder is very exciting. I can’t wait to watch him.”

Steve Lauletta, President, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams: “It is not often that you get to work with someone like Brantley Gilbert, who is not only a race fan but also has plenty of fans in racing. It is nice to have the ability to be able to something big across multiple forms of racing all at one time. We are also thrilled to be able to deepen our relationships with Big Machine and Comfort Revolution. They have been great partners of the team for some time now. There is nothing that pleases us more than when partners continue to see enough value in working with us that they want to reinvest in the program. Memorial Day Weekend will be a fun time for all of us.”

    Brantley Gilbert to Perform 45-Minute Coca-Cola 600 Pre-Race Concert

    April 29, 2014 0 Comments

Chart-topping country music star Brantley Gilbert will get fans pumped for the Coca-Cola 600 with a special 45-minute frontstretch pre-race concert presented by Coca-Cola and the USO on Sunday, May 25 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Gilbert will amp up the energy, performing "Bottoms Up" and more new songs from his upcoming album JUST AS I AM (The Valory Music Co.), slated for release on May 19. The lead single topped the Country airplay charts and has scored the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Country Singles Chart, already selling more than 1 million downloads while the accompanying video boasts more than 14.2 million views. Fans can also sing along to chart-topping, GOLD-certified hits “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”

It's no wonder I've loved both my whole life," said Gilbert. "The fastest half-mile track in Georgia was literally five minutes from my house growing up and we were always there. My dad even worked on a racing team in the Hooter’s [Pro] Cup Series for a while. I love the smell of gas, the motor and the tires. Being able to play a show for like-minded people and having them party their tails off at the same time is going to be a blast … I can’t wait for Charlotte Motor Speedway!”

Gilbert has racked up four No. 1 singles, impressive album sales of more than 1 million and multiple award show nominations from the CMA, ACM, ACA & CMT Music Awards. In 2013, he won the ACM for New Male Artist. As a celebrated songwriter, he has also penned No. 1 songs – “My Kinda Party,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”

For just $99, fans can get a Coca-Cola 600 weekend ticket package with a frontstretch ticket to the race, delivering the best views of the Brantley Gilbert concert on Sunday, May 25.

The weekend package also includes a ticket to LiftMaster Pole Night and the Saturday afternoon HISTORY 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. Tickets can be purchased by calling the speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS (3267) or online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com.
