    TIM MCGRAW’S SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN LIGHTS UP STORES TOMORROW

    Country music icon TIM MCGRAW is set to release his second Big Machine Records album, SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN, tomorrow, September 16, with a blazing release week schedule filled with national TV appearances, live performances and more.

    With USA Today already affirming that the album, “continues McGraw’s winning streak,” release day will kick off at sunrise with a performance on Good Morning America (9/16). Later that night, McGraw will team up with award-winning director Bennett Miller (Moneyball, Capote) for the music series American Express Unstaged at Hammerstein Ballroom. The concert will be live streamed at amexunstaged.com at 9PM ET. The next day, he'll head to The View (9/17) followed by a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that same day. McGraw will round out the week at the SiriusXM studios as part of a special edition of SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series (9/18).

    From start to finish, SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN tips its hat to the traditions of country music, then tosses some new ingredients into the mix while "balancing authentic country atmosphere with pop polish" (Boston Globe). The result is a melting pot of everything Tim McGraw does best. It's a country album for 2014, anchored by a fondness for the genre and the desire to push it into uncharted territory.     MADDIE & TAE TO RELEASE SELF-TITLED EP ON NOVEMBER 4

    Taking a stand and making a mark with “Girl In A Country Song,” newcomers Maddie & Tae have announced plans to release their self-titled EP across all digital retailers on November 4. The Top 20-and-climbing single, which claimed the #1 Country spot on Shazam for the last two weeks, is the first release from Dot Records, a newly established imprint underneath the Big Machine Label Group.

    CBS SPORTS TEAMS UP WITH SUPERSTAR DUO FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE

    CBS Sports has teamed up with superstar duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE for its SEC ON CBS broadcasts. The reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year has recorded a customized version of the song “That’s What’s Up” off a deluxe edition of their highly anticipated second album ANYTHING GOES (Republic Nashville), due out October 14. The song, along with elements from a video shoot with the duo, will be utilized as part of CBS Sports’ national coverage of Southeastern Conference football throughout the season.

    The customized song highlights the pageantry and passion around SEC football. CBS Sports also will incorporate elements from FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’s massive tailgate party to kick off GEORGIA-FLORIDA weekend and headline the ANYTHING GOES TAILGATE 2014 concert at the Jacksonville shipyards on October 31 in its broadcast of the annual Florida vs. Georgia game, played the next day (Saturday, Nov. 1; 3:30PM, ET).

    SEC ON CBS kicks off this Saturday, Sept. 13 (3:30 PM, ET) with *No. 6-ranked Georgia taking on No. 24-ranked South Carolina.     Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are set to host the inaugural television broadcast of the AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN AWARDS, airing live Monday, Dec. 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Broadcast live from the Music City Center in Nashville, TN, the two-hour show will honor the year’s best country music with awards, performances, special moments and additional surprises.     COUNTRY ICON GLEN CAMPBELL TO RELEASE LAST SONG HE EVER RECORDED

    Honored in 2012 with the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award, Country Music Hall of Fame member Glen Campbell has recorded his last song.

    “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” was written by Campbell and Julian Raymond specifically for a new documentary titled GLEN CAMPBELL: I’LL BE ME. Produced by Raymond, the song was recorded in the Los Angeles-based Sunset Sound Factory and East West Recording Studios. The song will be released on September 30 to all digital retailers.

    With a mere handful of piano chords, then a swell of harmonies, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” opens into the poignant, yet clear-eyed revelation of the things Alzheimer’s steals. Almost lumbering through the melody, Campbell’s weathered tenor confesses the painful truths of what is lost, the cost – and the reality that it will all be lost to him, the man who can’t remember. Pedal steel weeps, strings bathe the melody that rises against drums and an electric guitar that mirrors the unbreakable passage of life and time.

    GLEN CAMPBELL: I’LL BE ME is an epic human drama that intimately showcases the man and his music throughout Campbell’s struggle with Alzheimer’s. Chronicling the story of love, laughter, resilience and power of song, this film shows how against all odds, America’s greatest country star would not give up. Directed and produced by James Keach (producer of Walk The Line) and produced by Trevor Albert (Groundhog Day), GLEN CAMPBELL: I’LL BE ME will open in theaters in New York on October 24, followed by a national release to 50 cities.

    Big Machine Records will proudly release a soundtrack for the film that also features The Band Perry, who previously paid tribute to Campbell during the 2012 GRAMMY Awards. The project also features Campbell’s daughter Ashley who performs an original song.

    THE VALORY MUSIC CO. EXPANDS ROSTER, SIGNS LEVI HUMMON TO RECORD DEAL

    THE VALORY MUSIC CO. announces the signing of LEVI HUMMON to its artist roster, which includes superstar Reba, chart-topping stars Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett as well as legendary band The Mavericks and newcomer RaeLynn. The young Nashville native, whose penchant for songwriting is rooted in his DNA, brings a fresh sound to the Big Machine Label Group imprint.

    “As our Country format ebbs and flows, it’s always so important from an A&R perspective to look past what’s happening now and make some moves on the future direction,” said BMLG President & CEO Scott Borchetta. “Levi’s unique vision and incredible artistry is exactly the kind of musical move we want to make now.     Growing up with musical influences all around him, Levi credits his early lessons in songwriting to his Grammy Award winning father, Marcus Hummon ("God Bless The Broken Road") and inspiration from his mother Becca Stevens, who founded the socially conscious and philanthropic organization Thistle Farms. The father-son pair has performed together on multiple stages throughout the years, most recently during the 2014 CMA Music Festival. Through Levi's childhood and studying visual art in college, the 23- year-old storyteller melds his life experiences into honing his craft. Learning to bring his own ideas and unique vision to co-writes, Levi has had the opportunity to collaborate with 2014 ACM Songwriter of the Year Shane MacAnally, Andrew Dorff, Josh Osborne, Jonathan Singleton, Nathan Barlowe Brandy Clark and Trevor Rosen among others. While developing his personal sound during these sessions and on his own, Levi caught the attention of Hall of Fame Songwriter Desmond Child, which lead to "Make It Love" being featured in Two: The Story of Roman & Nero and inclusion on the short list of nominations for the Oscar's Best Original Song.

    “It really feels like a dream come true to be a part of the Valory/BMLG family! I've gotten to know a lot of the staff already, and it feels like one big family,” said Levi. “This label home already feels so supportive and is a perfect fit for my music. I also want to give a special shout out to my dad, who has been both a friend and mentor to me through this process, and a huge thank you to Desmond Child and Fletcher Foster for their belief in me."
