While still recovering from Tuesday’s party, the Big Machine Label Group and CMT Radio rallied VIP guests for night two of Country Radio Seminar (CRS) at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works. BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta and CMT Radio’s Cody Alan once again welcomed the massive crowd for an unforgettable experience.

Music execs and radio partners were entertained with a full-throttle experience of BMLG talent and a few surprises. Dynamic sibling trio The Band Perry started the show, introducing their driving next single “Chainsaw” followed by newcomer Danielle Bradbery, who showcased her killer pipes on songs from her debut album. ACM New Artist of the Year nominee Justin Moore kept the energy up with “Lettin’ The Night Roll” before bringing Vince Neil of Motley Crue to the stage for the band’s “Home Sweet Home.” The excitement continued with Brantley Gilbert joining on “Wild Side.” Borchetta brought Vince back to the stage as everyone belted out “Kickstart My Heart.” The unlikely pairings were just a preview of the forthcoming Country Tribute to Motley Crue, slated for release this Summer on Big Machine Records. Eliciting more crowd participation, Brantley closed out the evening with a rowdy set featuring his latest single “Bottoms Up.”

The Band Perry Scores Fourth #1 Single With "Done."

    July 24, 2013 0 Comments

Nashville, TN (July 24, 2013) – Superstar sibling trio The Band Perry tops the charts once again with their fourth #1 song "DONE." With prominent beats, direct lyrics, unyielding vocals and a bold title, the Gold-certified smash dominates both the Billboard and Mediabase Country Charts this week. “DONE.” also establishes a special songwriting milestone for Reid and Neil Perry, who co-wrote the single with John Davidson and Jacob Bryant.

“Neil and I wrote ‘DONE.’ with the spirit of the underdog. We've worked a long time to get here. Celebrating 15 years since our first family band show – it’s accomplishments like this that make all the hard work count for something. We still have a long way to go, but for today we are relishing the moment,” acknowledges Reid Perry.

Neil Perry adds, “’DONE.’ is our show opener. It's like song therapy for the fans and us. We all raise our fists in the air and shout a unified 'Ugh!’ From there on out, the rest of the night is like recess. We are so thrilled about this #1.”

Earlier this month, “DONE.” also secured The Band Perry their second consecutive multi-week #1 single with a two-week run on both the BDS Canada Country Airplay and Mediabase Canada Country charts. The trio is also slated to perform on the Canadian Country Music Awards in Edmonton, Alberta, on September 8.

“We are proud of what ‘DONE.’ has accomplished for the three of us. Mostly though, we are proud of what it has meant to our fans. They've taken this lyric and made it the soundtrack of their breakups, their tough times, their struggles. We write for the people and we thank them for making this one #1,” says Kimberly Perry.

“DONE.” also marks the second consecutive hit from PIONEER, The Band Perry’s sophomore release on Republic Nashville. The Dann Huff produced project debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and – in the US and Canada – has already produced the platinum, two-week #1 “Better Dig Two.”

The Band Perry is nominated for two Teen Choice Awards for Choice Break-up Song (“DONE.”) and Choice Country Group. Fans ages 13-19 have the chance to vote once a day via teenchoiceawards.com leading up to the August 11 telecast on FOX at 8P ET. Cementing the sibling trio as one of the hottest acts in recent history, The Band Perry has previously earned multiple ACM, CMA, and CMT Music Awards; AMA, ACA, and Billboard Music Award nominations and a string of hit singles. Their self-titled debut album featured the quadruple-platinum “If I Die Young” (which climbed to #1 on Billboard’s Country and AC charts); the platinum “You Lie” and the gold-certified Country #1 “All Your Life.”

In addition to enjoying their own sold-out headlining dates and most recently breaking an attendance record with an audience of 21,000 in West Fargo, ND, The Band Perry is currently on the road with Rascal Flatts for the LIVE & LOUD TOUR.

The Band Perry Visits the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to Fight Hunger

    June 19, 2013 0 Comments

The Food Bank of the Southern Tier received a visit from Superstar Country trio The Band Perry, which is composed of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry. This visit was in partnership with Outnumber Hunger – a national initiative with General Mills, Big Machine Label Group and Feeding America to help fight hunger in local communities – to recognize Kyle Halm, resident of Pine City, NY and local volunteer firefighter.

Kyle was voted the winner of The Band Perry’s Hometown Contest, which encouraged fans to write an essay in 100 words or less describing how they too are working to help make a difference in their local community. The prize was a visit from the trio in the winner’s hometown.

“We are big believers in community - folks coming together to make big things happen. Kyle brought us all together today - he has the spirit of the Pioneer. It was a rewarding experience to pack boxes at the Food Bank and to share a meal with our Webbs Mills firehouse friends,” said The Band Perry. As the face of Outnumber Hunger, The Band Perry is lending a hand across the country to help Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger-relief organization, secure meals on behalf of local food banks.

Kyle’s visit with The Band Perry included a hunger-relief volunteer activity at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, followed by a luncheon at the Webbs Mills Volunteer Fire Department where Kyle volunteers his time to help make a difference in the community.

"Overall this whole experience, including the visit to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, was an exciting and excellent opportunity to give back to the community once again, except this time with an amazing group of talented, successful, and down to earth musicians, The Band Perry. This experience just shows one of the many ways how rewarding volunteering can be. I want to thank everyone who voted and made all of this possible," said Kyle.

“As a member of Feeding America, the Food Bank of the Southern Tier was thrilled to learn that Kyle and The Band Perry would be visiting us. Today’s volunteer activity included boxing up frozen chicken that will be distributed to people in need across the Southern Tier,” said Food Bank of the Southern Tier President & CEO Natasha Thompson.

Each week, over 11,000 individuals visit a hunger-relief member agency served by the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. To learn more about how you can make a difference in the fight against hunger, visit the Food Bank’s website at www.foodbankst.org or Outnumber Hunger at www.outnumberhunger.com.
