(AUDIO) Laura Bell Bundy Loves The Adrenaline Of NASCAR Racing

July 21, 2013

Laura Bell Bundy will join other artists from the Big Machine Label Group next weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to perform as part of the Brickfest Music Festival, prior to the running of the Brickyard 400. She’s excited to perform but she’s even more excited about watching the race because she says, “I think there’s something totally exhilarating and exciting about racing. I mean it completely gives me this burst of adrenaline to just watch it and hear it and feel the heat of it all. So that’s what I’m most excited about.” Laura admits that she’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie, which is part of why she enjoys watching NASCAR. “I think I’ve become a fan of racing because I want to actually be in a race car myself,” she says. “I love high risk sports, I love things that make my heart rate skyrocket, I love adrenaline provoking activities. I love it and I’ve been in a pace car a couple of times and it just didn’t go fast enough for me.” She laughs and admits that when she watches racing, “I think I kind of wish I was in the cars during the race.” Laura will treat the Indy crowd to her new song, “Two Step,” among others.
