Special Olympics 25th Anniversary Album Offers 2 Free Bowling Games With Physical Release

November 8, 2012

Special Olympics and Big Machine Records have teamed to release the 25th anniversary edition of A Very Special Christmas: Bringing Joy To The World, and as part of the campaign supporting the release over 4,000 bowling locations nationwide have come together to feature music from the project. GoBowling.com, a destination in conjunction with the Bowling Proprietors Association of America, will offer up two free bowling games at the nearest bowling center via a coupon included in every physical copy of the album. Bowling is one of the most popular sports in which Special Olympics athletes compete, so the association makes perfect sense for the project. In addition to the free games offer for those who purchase the album, select bowling centers nationwide will be selling the album and featuring music from the project via the Bowling Music Network. Further, those who visit GoBowling.com can register for a $1000 holiday sweepstakes and daily giveaways of A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary Edition. Stay tuned for more unique partnerships for this release during the holiday season, including news on radio album specials, a Clear Channel Communities initiative, and a GMC network TV special supporting the release. Additionally, three music videos are set to be released from the project later this month.
