ELI YOUNG BAND PERFORMS “DUST” ON TODAY SHOW IN CELEBRATION OF NEW ALBUM

March 6, 2014 By 10,000 Towns Journeys to #1 on iTunes Country Albums Chart Upon Release

Eli Young Band celebrated their sophomore Republic Nashville album 10,000 TOWNS on NBC’s TODAY Show yesterday morning (3/4). The ACM Vocal Group of the Year nominees chatted with host Hoda Kotb and guest host Jenna Bush Hager and performed their new single “Dust.” Available now on iTunes – and everywhere music is sold – the album journeyed to #1 on iTunes Country Albums chart and into the all-genre Top 10 upon release. The project has already scored EYB their third career #1 “Drunk Last Night,” which has sold over 700,000 downloads. The talented foursome, who co-produced the album with Justin Niebank and Frank Liddell, wrote over half of the songs. Last week, Rolling Stone and American Songwriter exclusively premiered two of the tracks.

Readied with consecutive chart-toppers – DOUBLE PLATINUM "Crazy Girl" and PLATINUM "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" – EYB won the 2012 ACM Song of the Year and has garnered several GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, TEEN CHOICE Awards nominations.

EYB is currently on the road with Darius Rucker and will join Jake Owen later this Spring.
