(AUDIO) Justin Moore and Crown Royal Are Re-launching The Heroes Campaign

August 25, 2013

Back before the running of this year’s Brickyard 400, Justin Moore released a special song called “Heroes,” which was written by Greg Bates, to encourage people to celebrate and recognize the everyday heroes in our lives. Crown Royal pledged to donate one dollar to the Armed Forces Foundation for every download of the song, and the program was so successful that they’ve decided to re-launch it this Labor Day weekend. “If you’re 21 or over, you can go to www.CrownHeroesSong.com and download that for free and Crown Royal will donate a dollar for each time that’s downloaded to our Armed Forces Foundation,” explains Justin. He’s excited to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause because he says, “It’s something for us that’s very easy to do that’s gonna help some folks out. Anytime we can do that, especially for our military servicemen and women, why not.” The download will be available through Veteran’s Day.

In the meantime, Justin is preparing to release his new album, Off the Beaten Path, featuring his top ten hit, “Point At You.” He’ll celebrate the September 17th release of the album and the kickoff of Razorbacks football by putting on a free public concert on Friday September 13th at the University of Arkansas. The event will be a part of Family Weekend, which leads up to Arkansas’ home football game against Southern Mississippi on September 14th.

Justin Moore – Labor Day Heroes program :57

“We’ve been really fortunate to be involved with a program that Crown Royal has done for a number of years, but we’ve done it with them the last two or three and that’s called Your Heroes Name Here, where ultimately, a hometown hero who’s voted by fans as a winner online, has a Brickyard 400 named after him. In thinking about this year what we could do to help grow that program to a new level, on the music side of things, I had heard this song “Heroes” that Greg Bates actually wrote and I said, ‘Man, why don’t we go record that and actually do something with it’, What we did was put it up online. If you’re 21 or over, you can go to www.CrownHeroesSong.com and download that for free and Crown Royal will donate a dollar for each time that’s downloaded to our Armed Forces Foundation. Yeah, it’s something for us that’s very easy to do that’s gonna help some folks out. Anytime we can do that, especially for our military servicemen and women, why not.”
