Cassadee Pope's Debut Single "Wasting All These Tears" Sells Over 125,000 Downloads First Week

Cassadee Pope’s debut Country single, “Wasting All These Tears” has officially sold over 125,000 digital copies in the first week of release. The impressive feat comes on the heels of a return to THE VOICE stage, where she won in Season 3 of the hit NBC show. Watch the powerful performance here.

Taking multiples songs to the top of the iTunes charts while competing on Team Blake (Shelton), just last week Cassadee ascended once again. The lead single from her forthcoming album on Republic Nashville soared to #1 on the iTunes Country Top Songs chart and quickly catapulted to #2 on the All-Genre Top Songs chart. Collectively across all online retail platforms, the single debuted #2 on the Top Digital Country Chart and #10 on the Top Digital Songs Chart.

The powerhouse newcomer made an appearance on the CMT Music Awards to showcase the new tune, which earned the second most-added song at Country radio this week, just behind Kenny Chesney. “Wasting All These Tears” has also landed in the Top 10 on Spotify’s Most Viral list.

Cassadee is previewing new music on the road with Rascal Flatts’ LIVE & LOUD TOUR. A CMT Docu-Series will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album, slated for this fall and produced by Dann Huff.
