(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Consider Other Collaborations In The Rap World

July 28, 2013

Even as Florida Georgia Line’s current single, “’Round Here,” continues to climb the chart, their debut single, “Cruise” is setting records by becoming one of only four singles in the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart’s 69-year history to spend 21 cumulative weeks at #1 on that chart. Part of the song’s success is due to the remix they put out with rapper Nelly, which has given the song a whole new life. Since that collaboration has worked so well, Brian and Tyler have said there are other artists from the rap world they would love to work with if they got the chance. “We’ve got a list of people that would be amazing to work with,” says Tyler. “We’ve always talked about working with Lil Wayne or Wiz Khalifa for sure. There’s probably a long list. We’re all about stepping out of the box and doing different things and collaborating and getting into other people’s world and let them into our world. There’s something cool about that so, who knows. We’re kinda up for anything.”
