(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Make Good Use Of Down Time On The Road

April 21, 2013

As busy as Florida Georgia Line is, they say down time on the tour bus is a good time to catch up on things like e-mail, Twitter and Facebook. When they’re not sleeping or doing something to promote their latest single, “Get Your Shine On,” Tyler says, “That’s my time to catch up with people that I need to catch up with, check emails, try to take care of some business stuff. It’s our only downtime. Whether it’s Twitter and Facebook, or text or emails, whatever it is, that’s kinda my time to listen to music and just have ‘me’ time.” Brian also takes advantage of the time to be productive, but he admits some of his favorite times on the bus are when he and the guys aren’t doing anything but catching up with one another. “The coolest things is when the music’s off and nobody is sleeping or have their headphones on,” he says. “It doesn’t happen too much, but it’s cool and we just kinda get into it; a cool conversation. We’ve become one big family out there and we got some great, great guys out there on the road with us.”

Tyler - “If I’m not sleeping…that’s basically our only time to sleep, usually. So we try to sleep some, get some rest, but you can only do that so long. So I usually-- that’s my time to catch up with people that I need to catch up with, check emails, try to take care of some business stuff. It’s our only downtime. Whether it’s Twitter and Facebook, or text or emails, whatever it is, that’s kinda my time to listen to music and just have “me” time.”

Brian - “Yeah, same here. That’s catch up on Twitter, Facebook, and friends. Try to watch a couple movies here and there. You know what’s cool? The coolest things is when the music’s off and nobody is sleeping or have their headphones on, it doesn’t happen too much, but it’s cool and we just kinda get into it; a cool conversation. We’ve become one big family out there and we got some great, great guys out there on the road with us.”
