(AUDIO) Taylor Swift Floored By Famous Fan

April 28, 2013

Taylor Swift has millions of fans around the world, but every now and then she’ll learn of someone who is a fan of her music that kind of blows her mind. One example is when she learned actress Lena Dunham listens to her music. “Lena Dunham is this girl who is so incredibly talented. She’s a writer, director and actress who stars in this show called “Girls” on HBO. And it’s – my friends and I, it’s our favorite show,” says Taylor. “And I’ve always been really blown away by how she’s so young -- she’s in her mid-20s – and she does all these things. She creates so much. When I found out that she listens to my music – she mentioned it in an article or a bunch of interviews that she listened to my music, and it absolutely floored me. It made my day, honestly.” Taylor explains that having someone like Lena appreciate her work means so much because, “For there to be someone with that creative of a mind and that impressive writing talent for someone like that to listen to my music it was a real, really good day for me.”
