A powerful and personal story, the song describes the ways in which the band’s found faith has proven to be a steady pillar of strength in their lives. Although deeply personal, the song allows listeners to reflect on the pillars of strength in their own lives that bring them peace in times of chaos or uncertainty. Written by bandmembers Jack Wharff, Ryan Atchison and Garrett Howell, “Saved” highlights Wharff’s signature gravelly vocals supported by the band’s stellar but reverently restrained instrumentation.

“‘Saved’ is a song about the ways our faith has reshaped the way we think and live,” shares Jack Wharff. “It’s an extremely personal song for us that captures a moment in time where we felt hopeless, only to have that hope renewed by our faith.”
“Saved” marks the third song released by The Jack Wharff Band since their debut EP Richmond’s Most Wanted was released this summer, following “Ole Virginia,” which “radiates nostalgia” (All Country News), and the “cinematic” (Country Central) “Moonshine Man.” The band recently wrapped their run as tour support on select dates of Max McNown’s Forever Ain’t Long Enough Tour and Ole 60’s U.S. Tour 2025.
