NASHVILLE, TN (November 16th, 2018) – LA rockers BADFLOWER today released a new track along with an accompanying music video for “x ANA x”, the newest song off of the group’s forthcoming debut full-length album OK, I’M SICK via Big Machine/John Varvatos Records. Directed by Jordan Wolfbauer, the video imagines an intense, yet cathartic fever dream in which the band confronts anxieties and inner demons head on. It’s a relatable struggle for fans and performers alike, in line with the rest of the self-reflective lyrical themes that course through the veins of the band’s new record. ““x ANA x” is about my struggles with anxiety and panic disorder as a performer,” frontman Josh Katz said about the song & video. “It’s the scariest and most debilitating thing in my life so I made a joke out of it. You should try it.”

x ANA x” is the second offering from Badflower’s forthcoming album OK, I’M SICK, which also features their current single “Ghost” and can be pre-ordered here: https://badflower.lnk.to/OKISPR. Members of the band co-wrote each song and recorded in Los Angeles with executive producer credits attributed to Scott Borchetta and John Varvatos.

The Southern California rockers have gained traction as the album’s lead single “Ghost” recently claimed the top spot on the Active Rock Radio Mediabase Chart and marked the band’s first no. 1 hit. Gaining traction with it’s meaningful lyrics the song is also quickly climbing the Alternative chart where they are currently Top 30. Beyond airwaves, the bitingly exposed lyrics and incredible delivery have captivated audiences at live shows and with personal responses online as the topic of suicide universally unites so many. Forbes affirms, “‘Ghost’ has connected at the absolute core of where music hits fans.” With a powerful performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Badflower was compelled to record a more intimate version in the same vein “Ghost” was conceptualized. Watch the acoustic version, which they also brought to FOX’s Good Day L.A. recently as well.

Badflower is currently in the midst of a massive US tour supporting The Wrecks, and will keep the momentum going into 2019 on Nothing More’s THE TRUTH TOUR. For ticket information and a complete list of upcoming tour dates, visit Badflowermusic.com.
