Rascal Flatts, Riley Green, Jackson Dean, Mackenzie Carpenter, Preston Cooper, Chase McDaniel, Greylan James, Chris Janson, Caroline Jones, Shaylen & Jack Wharff and The Tobacco Flatts Perform for Radio Programmers & Industry Crowd
NASHVILLE, TN (February 21, 2025) – Celebrating the final day of Country Radio Seminar (CRS) with performances from superstar talent and in-demand newcomers, Big Machine Label Group welcomed Country Radio and industry executives today (2/21) for its annual luncheon at the Omni hotel in downtown Nashville. The star-studded lineup included Big Machine Records’ RASCAL FLATTS, JACKSON DEAN, CHASE MCDANIEL and JACK WHARFF AND THE TOBACCO FLATTS, Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment’s RILEY GREEN, GREYLAN JAMES, CHRIS JANSON, CAROLINE JONES and SHAYLEN and The Valory Music Co.’s PRESTON COOPER and MACKENZIE CARPENTER.
BMLG Chairman and CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA welcomed the at-capacity crowd in the Broadway Ballroom dressed in a pilot’s uniform, nodding to Mötley Crüe’s (Big Machine Rock) 2024 “Dogs Of War” music video. He expressed his immense pride in the afternoon’s participating artists from imprints led by JIMMY HARNEN (Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment), GEORGE BRINER (The Valory Music Co.) and KRIS LAMB (Big Machine Records), and cleared the BMLG luncheon for takeoff.
JACK WHARFF AND THE TOBACCO FLATTS expressed their gratitude to be at their first CRS and kicked off the luncheon with their fan-favorite crowd-pleaser “Burnin’ It Down.” They then went into their track “Picture Perfect” which marked their first release via Big Machine Records last fall.
Multi-instrumentalist CAROLINE JONES treated the crowd to her soon-to-be-released upcoming single “No Tellin’” as she made her CRS luncheon debut. Already turning heads as the sole female member of Zac Brown Band, Jones gave attendees the first taste of her upcoming solo project with Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.
Platinum-selling singer/songwriter JACKSON DEAN showcased his raw and captivating vocals with two of his tracks – “Train” and chart-climbing “Heavens To Betsy” – off his critically-acclaimed sophomore album, On The Back Of My Dreams, earning him a standing ovation at CRS for the third year in a row.
Multi-Platinum, chart-topping artist CHRIS JANSON invited attendees to “Stay Rowdy,” taking today’s opportunity to treat radio and industry executives to newly-released music amidst a jam-packed tour schedule.
CHASE MCDANIEL graced the CRS luncheon stage for the first time, performing his never-before-heard song “Die Trying” and his recently released power ballad “Burned Down Heaven,” which will be heading to Country Radio on April 14.
Singer/songwriter MACKENZIE CARPENTER took the stage to sing the latest advance track from her highly anticipated debut album Hey Country Queen (out March 7), “I Wish You Would.” The song features GRAMMY-nominated trio Midland, whose Mark Wystrach accompanied Carpenter via the ballroom’s video screens.
ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter GREYLAN JAMES played an acoustic rendition of his emotional new track “Wait Til You Have Kids” which has been quickly racking up social media views and capturing the hearts of parents everywhere since its release last month. The song will be going for adds at Country Radio on March 17.
The first notes of Country newcomer PRESTON COOPER’s performance of his debut song “Weak” earned immediate cheers from the crowd before a standing ovation when the song concluded. His impressive vocal delivery continued with his performance of unreleased high-energy track “One For The Road,” which brought the crowd to its feet once again.
Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment recording artist SHAYLEN showcased her powerhouse vocals and dynamic stage presence treating the crowd to a performance of her unreleased track “Daddy Issues.”
CMA and ACM Award-winning superstar RILEY GREEN built the anticipation with “Change My Mind” before diving into his current single “Worst Way,” which is flying up the Country Radio charts. The song was recently ignited by its viral music video that tallied millions of views and claimed the spot of the No. 1 trending video in the world.
Celebrating 25 years, 17 No. 1 singles, 12 billion streams and more than 40 industry awards, RASCAL FLATTS took the stage and played their brand-new single (and Jonas Brothers collaboration) “I Dare You.” The crowd broke out into a singalong when they went into their hit song “What Hurts The Most.” They closed out the luncheon by bringing the audience to their feet for “Life Is A Highway,” as their tour of the same name criss-crosses the country.
