Surprise Performances by Dierks Bentley + Garth Brooks & Ronnie Dunn

NASHVILLE, TN (March 1, 2024) – Wrapping Country Radio Seminar (CRS) week on a high note, Big Machine Label Group showcased eight of its superstars and in-demand newcomers today at the Omni hotel in downtown Nashville. The signature luncheon welcomes Country radio and industry executives, treating them to performances earlier this afternoon (3/1) from the diverse roster of talent – LADY A, CARLY PEARCE, BRIAN KELLEY, RILEY GREEN, CHRIS JANSON, JACKSON DEAN, GREYLAN JAMES and MACKENZIE CARPENTER – in addition to three surprise guests with Capitol Records Nashville’s DIERKS BENTLEY, plus GARTH BROOKS and RONNIE DUNN.

BMLG Chairman and CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA invited the room to explore new music and celebrate career milestones they helped create alongside imprint leaders JIMMY HARNEN (Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment President/CEO), GEORGE BRINER (The Valory Music Co. President) and KRIS LAMB (Big Machine Records EVP/GM).

GRAMMY® Award-winning trio LADY A kicked off the event with their new single “Love You Back,” which is currently ascending at Country radio. The band was recently named Cornerstone Building Brands’ 2024 Home for Good project ambassador, an initiative aimed to bring more awareness to the affordable housing crisis.

Multi-award-winning Country star and world-class musician DIERKS BENTLEY received a standing ovation after surprising the room with a performance of his new single “American Girl.” The Bluegrass-tinged cover of the Tom Petty classic will appear on Big Machine Records’ forthcoming tribute album, Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty.

Grand Ole Opry member and MULTI-PLATINUM recording artist CHRIS JANSON shared his appreciation with the room for his latest No. 1 song (and career fifth), with a performance of “All I Need Is You” from his latest album OUTLAW SIDE OF ME. Closing with his forthcoming single “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get,” it’s easy to see how Rolling Stone proclaimed this artist “a live legacy in the making.” The new track is due out March 8 via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.

Fresh-faced MACKENZIE CARPENTER has released a handful of tracks, all of which boldly tell it like it is and embrace the truth—especially the messy ones. Mackenzie kicked things up a notch with a rockin’ performance of unreleased track “Sound Of A Heartbreak.” The CMT Next Women of Country class of 2023 inductee spent last year on the road with label-mates Danielle Bradbery and Conner Smith and is currently writing and recording new music.

Already an established songwriter with over 700 million streams on his songbook, GREYLAN JAMES took the stage to perform his label debut “Young Man.” After joining Old Dominion and Cole Swindell on the road last year, Greylan is supporting Scotty McCreery’s CAB IN A SOLO TOUR and Adam Doleac’s WRONG SIDE OF A SUNRISE TOUR throughout 2024.

Fast-rising singer/songwriter JACKSON DEAN is quickly earning a reputation for his old school, gritty, lyric-driven, outlaw style of Country and impressive live shows. Kicking off his performance with his latest Top-15-and-climbing single “Fearless,” the chart-topper couldn’t catch his flight to Berlin, Germany for C2C Music Festival without performing fan-favorite track “Heavens To Betsy,” which was met with a standing ovation.

DIAMOND-selling superstar BRIAN KELLEY performed two new songs – “Acres” and “Kiss My Boots” – from his much-anticipated forthcoming debut album via Big Machine Records. With each new track preview, Kelley brings to light another side of him having already introduced the full-length project with “See You Next Summer,” “Dirt Cheap,” “How We’re Livin’” and “Trucks, Ducks, Bucks & Beer.”

GRAMMY, CMA and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter CARLY PEARCE had a busy morning announcing her fourth studio album hummingbird, arriving June 14 via Big Machine Records. Taking the stage to first perform her Top-20-and-rising single “we don’t fight anymore” joined by Lady A’s CHARLES KELLEY, which received a standing ovation, Carly closed with a debut performance of the album’s stirring title track “hummingbird” released today.

Chart-topping singer/songwriter RILEY GREEN performed his next single from his latest album AIN’T MY LAST RODEO, “Damn Good Day to Leave” which will be going to Country radio on March 18. The Alabama good ol’ boy followed it up with a stop-you-in-your-tracks solo acoustic performance of an unreleased tear-jerking tune “Jesus Saves.”

BMLG Chairman and CEO, SCOTT BORCHETTA closed out the show and surprised the audience by bringing out two Oklahomans, GARTH BROOKS and RONNIE DUNN to perform their latest single “Rodeo Man.” The performance was met with thunderous applause as many attendees rushed forward to capture the one-of-a-kind moment on their cell phones and danced along.
