NASHVILLE, TN (September 1, 2023) — Today, crossover country artist Kidd G releases his new single, “I Don’t Dance.” In a direct contrast to the title, the track is brimming with tender lyrics and effortless hooks guaranteed to make the new track a winning addition to the Anywhere But Home tour, which is making its way across the country right now.

“She had a shiny ring on / a Southern belle with curves,” the 20-year-old sings over electric guitar strumming and minimal percussion. “How’d she even get them jeans on? / I’d really like to know, baby.” Kidd G then launches into the anthemic chorus: “I don’t dance, but here I am with your hips sitting in my hands,” he belts.“You make it hard for me, when you’re pushing up on me.”

“I Don’t Dance” follows quickly after the arrival of the equally infectious “Lesson Learned.” Both were preceded by the announcement that the Georgia native’s tour had been extended into November, due to overwhelming demand. More than 30 new dates were added, including stops in major markets such as Nashville, New York, Montreal, and Toronto. Get tickets HERE and see all dates below.

This continues a meteoric rise to stardom for Kidd G in the last few years. He hit the Billboard country charts just a few months after his 17th birthday with his debut EP, Teenage Dream, prompting The New York Times to dub it “a study in fluidity.” The phenom has already gained over 1.5M followers on TikTok alone and racked up tens of millions of views on YouTube with songs like 2022’s “People Talk.” Kidd G closed out last year with The Nashville Sessions EP, featuring twangy versions of his beloved tracks recorded at the titular town’s legendary Blackbird Studio. Now, with “I Don’t Dance,” the multi-hyphenate is ready to continue his rapid ascent.
