ASCAP And BMI Award-Winning Songwriter Launches Hot-Ticket Run

NASHVILLE, TN (November 16, 2018) – ACM Awards New Male Vocalist of the Year Brett Young is kicking off his highly-anticipated CMT ON TOUR: HERE TONIGHT with back-to-back sold-out shows in Royal Oak, Michigan (11/16) and Northfield, OH (11/17) this weekend. Captivating crowds “like a seasoned pro” (The Press-Enterprise), Young is set to bring his “engaging and vocally strong” (Providence Journal) live show to fans across the country alongside special guests Tyler Rich and Rachel Wammack. The in-demand trek will feature back-to-back album release shows at Boston’s House of Blues (12/7, 12/8) in conjunction with the December 7 release of his sophomore album on BMLG Records, TICKET TO L.A..

“I am beyond excited to start this tour with Tyler and Rachel,” said Young. “My second album comes out in the middle of the run so it will be a big celebration with fans. I can’t wait to play a lot of these new songs live for the first time.”

TICKET TO L.A. features Young’s fifth single “Here Tonight,” which is quickly rising up the Country charts and lends its name to the headline tour. Fans who pre-order the album will also instantly get access to listen to new songs “Reason to Stay” and the title track. The 13-track project is available at BrettYoungMusic.com, where a limited number of destination bundles are available.

Already an impressive week, Young was named ASCAP’s 2018 Country Songwriter-Artist of the Year for his “melodic craftsmanship” (Billboard) as he’s continued to rack up nonstop hits as “one of country music’s most reliable new hitmakers” (Tennessean). His 3X PLATINUM smash hit “In Case You Didn’t Know” was also bestowed with the top honor at the BMI Country Awards as their Song of the Year. He performed his chart-topping ballad “Mercy” on the CMA Awards Wednesday night.

TICKET TO L.A. follows the incredible release of Young’s debut self-titled album, which dominated the Top 20 on the Country Albums chart for 37 weeks and quickly reached RIAA PLATINUM certification. Delivering four consecutive No. 1 PLATINIUM-certified hits, Young distinguished himself as the only Country artist on Billboard’s Top New Artist List. He has garnered nominations from ACM, Billboard, Teen Choice, CMT and CMA Awards. Along with the industry successes, his relationship with fans found Young selling out every stop on his debut headlining CALIVILLE TOUR and earning new followers on the road with Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES TOUR. Young is also set to join Kelsea Ballerini in 2019 on the MISS ME MORE TOUR. For additional information, visit brettyoungmusic.com.
