No. 1 Video All Genre on iTunes

NASHVILLE, TN (March 9, 2018) – MULTI-PLATINUM selling entertainer Brett Young partnered with Apple Music to unveil the official music video for “Mercy” today which currently holds the top spot on the iTunes All Genre video chart. Directed by Seth Kupersmith, the visually stunning video was filmed over the course of two days in Encino, CA and White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. WATCH IT HERE –

“‘Mercy’ is one of my favorite songs on the record, so it’s been really cool to see it come to life,” Young said. “My buddy Seth has always had such a creative and artistic brain – I got chills when I read his idea for this video for the first time. I’m really excited to share this one with fans!”

“Mercy,” Young’s latest single co-written alongside Sean McConnell, follows three back-to-back No. 1 hits, “Sleep Without You,” “In Case You Didn’t Know” and “Like I Loved You.” The “soulful ballad” (Billboard) was the most-added song upon hitting Country radio and is rapidly climbing the charts.

Young’s “soothing, approachable” (New York Times) self-titled debut album (BMLG Records) became an instant success upon its 2017 release when it dominated the Top 20 on the Country Albums chart for 37 weeks. His lead single PLATINUM-certified “Sleep Without You” climbed to the top of the charts and was followed by his breakout smash “In Case You Didn’t Know,” which has reached 3X PLATINUM status, making him the only debut Country artist to reach that sales milestone since 2014. The hit’s official music video surpassed 175 million views – more than any recent debut Country artist. Young’s third single, GOLD-certified “Like I Loved You” skyrocketed to No. 1 and stayed there for three weeks. Drawing in a devoted fan base with his unique voice, “a gentle and seductive combination of silk and gravel” (All Access), he “doesn’t sound like anyone else in Nashville” (Omaha World Herald). Named as the only Country act to Billboard’s Top 10 New Artists, fans have flocked to hear Young’s distinct sound live, selling out every single stop on his debut headlining CALIVILLE TOUR. This week, Young is overseas for performances at the C2C Festival in London, Glasgow and Dublin as well as CMC Rocks Festival in Brisbane, Australia. Kicking off April 5, fans can catch him on Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES TOUR 2018, which runs throughout the fall.
