NASHVILLE, TN (May 19, 2022) – Proud of their hometown and Rock club raising, THE CADILLAC THREEbrought the heat – and a sold-out crowd – to the final round of Mercy Lounge shows last night. GRAMMY-nominated frontman Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason and lapsteel/bassist Kelby Ray, who began crafting their freewheeling vibe and distinct sonic tendencies in high school at local venues like this, have since cultivated a global following of both Country and Rock loyalists.

Indie Pop pals JIVE TALK took the stage before TC3 kicked off their set with aptly-titled opener “Tennessee” from 2017’s LEGACY. Diving deep into a steady mix of fan favorites from the last decade, TC3 highlighted some of the funkier tracks from their second release of 2020, TABASCO & SWEET TEA, with the title track, “Blue El Camino” and “The Jam.” Jaren also showcased his vocal dexterity on “Whiskey Soaked Redemption” from TC3’s 2012 self-titled project and LEGACY’s “Take Me To The Bottom” while coming of age tribute “American Slang” proved another symbolic moment in the night. Signature tracks “I’m Southern” and “Tennessee Mojo” fueled a palpable energy as the audience fully erupted during TC3’s encore performance of “The South.”

“Mercy Lounge has been such an impactful space for us and so many other musicians and fans. To our friends John Bruton and Todd Ohlhauser, we hope this night was a reminder of all the badass memories you helped create. This venue was a heartbeat of Music City,” said TC3.

Intentionally serving the wider music community throughout their career, American Songwriter recently noted, “The Cadillac Three’s contribution to a year like no other can be measured in albums released, songs released (28), live-streamed shows recorded, donations collected, venues supported, mouths fed, and positive messages sent. […] the trio who has never stopped putting in the work” while Rolling Stone bluntly stated, “The Cadillac Three Sound the Alarm for Clubs in Crisis.”

TC3 stopped by The Bobby Bones Show this morning to chat about their ever-evolving sound, a bucking trends mentality, chart-topping songwriting and antics on the road with Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town’s THE BANDWAGON TOUR. Listen here + watch stripped down versions of “Tabasco & Sweet Tea” and “White Lightning.”

Their Country Fuzz spirit can be heard through other superstar artists such as Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, Jon Pardi and Tyler Hubbard’s forthcoming single “5 Foot 9.” As a producer, Jaren is credited across Tyler Rich, Kip Moore, Foo Fighters’ Chris Shifflett, Steven Tyler and other projects. TC3’s efforts have earned GRAMMY, ACM and CMA International Achievement Awards nominations.

TC3’s HILLBILLY HYPNOTIZED TOUR rolls along this summer with an August run in the UK. Visit thecadillacthree.com for the latest happenings.
