NASHVILLE, TN (February 14, 2020) – Roses are red. Violets are blue. CARLY PEARCE is the perfect Valentine’s Day soundtrack for you! The dynamic vocalist releases a 13-track love letter in the form of her highly anticipated, self-titled sophomore album today on Big Machine Records – LISTEN NOW. The collection threads together stages and forms of admiration that have taken on deeper meaning with her marriage to husband Michael Ray and unexpected loss of her mentor producer busbee.

“A lot of life and learning happened as I recorded this album: sorrow, forgiveness, sass, flirtation. But overall, love. I am so grateful to these incredible collaborators for helping me to create these songs that truly reflect my stories over the last couple of years,” shared Carly. “I forever want everyone who listens to this record to hear busbee’s heart in it, because his heart was all over this. This one is for busbee.”

This Tuesday (2/18), Carly will perform one of the more bittersweet sentiments, “It Won’t Always Be Like This,” on NBC’s TODAY in the 9:00A hour (all time zones; check local listings). She crafted the reflective song alongside Sam Ellis and Natalie Hemby with pensive lyrics: “I know nothing lasts forever but sometimes I still forget. It won’t always be like this.”

The down-to-earth vocalist has quickly carved out her own highly honest, emotionally compelling place in a very Pop-Country world. Fiercely rooted in the classics, the girl who left her Kentucky home and high school at 16 to take a job at Dollywood has grown into a woman who embraces the genre’s forward progression. Leading up to CARLY PEARCE, her duet with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” has risen into the Top 15 at Country radio and garnered over 64 million global streams. Fans and critics alike are gravitating towards Carly’s evolution from heartache, remorse, nostalgia and exuberance:
