NEW YORK, NY (November 22, 2018) – Gratitude has been a theme for CARLY PEARCE throughout 2018 so today’s bucket-list moment performing “Closer To You” on the 92nd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade could not be more serendipitous. The chilly temperatures in New York City were no match for her new single’s red-hot lyrics: Slide across that leather seat / Heart to heart, face to face / You know all I wanna do / Is get closer, closer, closer to you.

“It’s been a tradition to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with my family as we cook and lounge together,” shared Carly. “I can’t believe I actually get to ride the Green Giant float and SING on this year … There truly couldn’t be a more amazing way to cap off 2018!”

Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker hosted the NBC broadcast, which will also show an encore presentation at 2:00P ET.

Major tours, breakthrough awards and bold headlines have followed Carly’s journey from hard work, heartache and a history-making No. 1 with “Every Little Thing.” Forbes’ recent profile with “…one of country music’s most buzzed about artists” expands on her tenacity and teases a sophomore album on Big Machine Records. The lead single “up-tempo love song is a bit more progressive than anything Pearce has released previously, but she doesn’t step too far away from what fans have come to know and love from her.” Read the full article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurenjoblack/2018/11/19/how-carly-pearce-became-country-musics-new-it-girl/#b790d1451a10
