CHASE MCDANIEL CALLS OUT TO ALL LOST ONES WITH DEBUT ALBUM OUT NOW

Cathartic Country-Rock LP Details Autobiographical Journey from Mental Health Struggles to Hope and Healing

Makes Its Mark During National Suicide Prevention Month

Stuns With Soulful New Song “Die Trying” As Current Single “Burned Down Heaven” Rises at Country Radio

NASHVILLE, TN (September 19, 2025) – Today (9/19) marks the anticipated release of Lost Ones – the bravely autobiographical debut album from Big Machine Records singer-songwriter Chase McDaniel. Intentionally released during National Suicide Prevention Month, the raw yet electrifying LP details the Kentucky-bred artist’s battle with depression and suicidal ideation, as well as his hard-fought journey to hope and healing. Available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen to Lost Ones here.

“My hope is that you find a song on this album that makes you feel both seen and heard in a way you never have before,” shares McDaniel. “May you use it to find strength.”

Produced by Lindsay Rimes and featuring McDaniel’s debut single “Burned Down Heaven” (a soul-stirring power ballad currently heating up Country Radio), Lost Ones emerges from his mission of empowering others to find strength in their darkest moments. To achieve the album’s uncompromising honesty, McDaniel co-wrote every song and refused to sugarcoat the truth about his mental health struggles and the pain of losing his father to addiction. Deeply informed by his own experience in finding salvation through music, the result is a body of work with a profoundly life-affirming impact. Strong press support is already stacking up with MusicRow hailing, “Chase McDaniel Finds His Voice On ‘Lost Ones.’”

As the first song penned for Lost Ones, the tender but hard-hitting “Die Trying” fully embodies the album’s cathartic storytelling and high-octane Country-Rock. Co-written by McDanielSeth Ennis, and Rimes, the slow-burning powerhouse offers up a lived-in portrait of the kind of love that reshapes your whole existence. After opening on a bit of bracing confession from McDaniel (“Always kinda thought I’d be meeting God with a 27 Club kinda story / I was living fast like a train off the tracks / Heading straight into a blaze of glory”), the track turns wildly romantic at its heart-stopping chorus (“I just wanna live forever / So, I’ll never have to tell you goodbye / A couple million years together / Spend ‘em all getting lost in your eyes / You and me for eternity / If there’s a way, then baby I’ll find it / I’m gonna love ya ‘til the end of time, yeah / Or I’m gonna die trying”). A perfect showcase for his captivating baritone, “Die Trying” reaches a glorious crescendo at the bridge, fueled by an epic guitar solo that’s nothing short of sublime. Listen to “Die Trying” and watch the lyric video.

Along with “Burned Down Heaven” and “Die Trying,” Lost Ones includes standouts like “Risk It All” (a hypnotic look at falling for someone who’s impossibly out of reach) and “My Side Of The Family” (a searing reflection on generational trauma). Released in June, the album’s soul-searching title track also serves as the namesake for a group launched by McDaniel in order to foster community among those dealing with mental illness. As he revealed in a recent Instagram postThe Lost Ones Club aims to provide space for others to share their own stories of grief, tragedy, and triumph, and to find healing and connection through the singular power of music. Fans can sign up to be a part of The Lost Ones Club here

Not only a monumental artistic accomplishment, delivering Lost Ones finds McDaniel facing a major personal goal that dates back to his college years. While training for a weightlifting competition, the then-University of Louisville freshman suffered a severe head injury that left him in the hospital with amnesia – a devastating event that not only cost him his scholarship but has since caused him to suffer panic attacks whenever he attempts to enter a gym. In an Instagram post shared in July, McDaniel stated his intentions to return to the gym and bench press 250 pounds by Lost Ones’ release date, ultimately overcoming his longtime fear. An update is promised on his socials soon.

On Tuesday (9/16) at Chief’s on Broadway in Nashville, TN, McDaniel hosted an album pre-release party for Lost Ones and played an intimate set of songs from the album. Readying to next take the full-length project on the road, he’ll support Jason Aldean at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ, on October 10. He’s also set to open for Alexandra Kay’s SECOND WIND: THE TOUR this fall. Fans can find all upcoming show details here.

ABOUT CHASE MCDANIEL: Raised by his grandparents in the small Kentucky town of Greensburg, Chase McDaniel is one of Nashville’s most tenacious singer-songwriters and a shining example of how kindness, persistence, and curiosity can pay off. After graduating from the University of Louisville, he pursued his dream of making Country music all the way to Nashville. But the streetwise go-getter, who’s no stranger to hard times, quickly found misfortune once again – this time courtesy of the pandemic. Jobless and down to his last $12, he almost packed it up and headed home, then found a lifeline in a friend who loaned him enough to cover rent for just a few more weeks. During that time, McDaniel submitted over 50 job applications and finally landed a gig, working double shifts and sleeping as little as four hours a night while writing and recording with his producer and best friend Jerry Jacobs in whatever spare time he could find. Grateful for the second chance, McDaniel poured his heart and soul into his music, sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly, and steadily winning over a growing community of fans who’ve connected with his honesty and strength through vulnerability – not to mention his enigmatic swagger. Over the last few years, he’s scored the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales and iTunes Country single charts with the self-aware “Project” and reached No. 3 (all-genre) for “Your Daughter” (a heartbreaking track written about his sister). The Big Machine Records talent released his debut EP Blame It All On Country Music in early 2024 and began taking his Country-Rock sound and rich baritone vocals to sold-out audiences across the country. With his first single “Burned Down Heaven” at Country Radio, and autobiographical debut album Lost Ones out now, McDaniel’s ultimate aim is to help others find the light.
