DANIELLE BRADBERY PONDERS ON “THE DAY THAT I’M OVER YOU”

Vulnerable Track Reveals the Pain of Deciding to Let Go – LISTEN NOW

(NASHVILLE, TN) September 1, 2023 – Powerhouse vocalist Danielle Bradbery shares the struggle of cutting ties with someone you love in a heartbreaking new song “The Day That I’m Over You,” available now via Big Machine Records. Penned by Sean Spencer Small, Sam Sumser and Emily Weisband, the vulnerable track confesses the emotions revealed when deciding to let go and reveals that sometimes the most daunting part about knowing the end is near, is wondering who you’ll be on the other side. Conveying a universal pain, Bradbery ponders during the chorus: ‘Cause what will I talk about / What will I drink about / Who will I look for when I walk into a room / Who will I fantasize about in bed at night / What will my heart beat for / Don’t know what I’ll do / The day that I’m over you/.

“We’ve been playing ‘The Day That I’m Over You’ at shows for the past few months and I’ve been counting down the days until its release,” shares Bradbery. “When I first heard this song, it jumped out at me immediately because it offers a unique perspective on a universal experience. One of the hardest parts of a breakup is when you must force yourself to stop fantasizing about what could’ve been and accept what is. Oftentimes we lose ourselves in another person and don’t know how to move forward when it’s over. This song touches on that process and gives a front row seat to the internal dialog within yourself when you know it’s time to move on.”

“The Day That I’m Over You” follows Bradbery’s self-penned track detailing her personal struggles with anxiety “Monster,” free-spirited love-story “Runaways” and her latest single “A Special Place.” Earlier this year, Bradbery embarked on her first-ever headline A SPECIAL PLACE TOUR where she “proved she’s part of country music’s next wave” (Substream Magazine), plus established herself as “an artist that deserves a place in the music industry” (Country Now). Following her recent collaboration with Jordan Davis on “Midnight Crisis,” Bradbery joins him on the road once again for his DAMN GOOD TIME TOUR beginning September 7 in Columbus, OH.
