LOS ANGELES, CA (April 24, 2020) – Gearing up for his forthcoming project, singer/songwriter and guitarist Gunnar Gehl previews what’s to come with his debut single “For Your Love,” out now. The powerful love anthem serves as Gunnar’s first release since signing with leading entertainment companies Big Machine Label Group (Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow, Florida Georgia Line) and SB Projects (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin). Co-written with GRAMMY® Award winning songwriter/musician Dan Wilson, “For Your Love” unfolds in graceful acoustic-guitar work and achingly soulful vocals — an element so striking, several of Gunnar’s collaborators ended up in tears upon hearing the recording for the first time.

“It’s a song about wanting someone so bad that you’d do anything to be with them,” Gunnar explains. “It could be that you’ve just had a bad fight, or that you’re in love with someone who doesn’t even know it — just that feeling of total desperation.”

Gunnar perfectly illustrates the exhilarating thrill of finding love in the free-spirited official music video, watch now. Today, the California Native leans into the emotion of “For Your Love,” sharing stripped-down acoustic version of the track. Listen now and watch the new video premiering at 3PM ET here – https://gunnargehl.lnk.to/FYLAcoustic

Gunnar Gehl is known for showcasing his gift for crafting bright melodies, arena-ready choruses, and lyrics both intensely personal and infinitely relatable. At just 19-years-old, Gunnar is working around the clock with a collection of hit songwriter-producers including Julian Bunetta and John Ryan as well as The Monsters & Strangerz, among others. Gunnar has certainly come a long way since he formed a garage band at age eight with his buddies. Just over a year ago, he hit the stage for his official live debut, blowing the doors off Seattle’s 1,000-capacity Neptune Theatre opening for PRETTYMUCH. As he prepares to introduce his music to the world, Gunnar holds one major hope for his debut project: to expand and deepen that already-close connection with his fans.
