Newcomer is “The Difference” on CMT Awards Red Carpet + CMA Fest Performance
Scores No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway

NASHVILLE, TN (June 13, 2018) – TYLER RICH may be a Country music newcomer but he is proving to be “the difference.” From solo movie dates to gorging on Red Vines, the Northern California turned Nashville resident shares how his passion for music lead to finding love in 17 Things, a musical.ly series in partnership with Hearst Digital and Seventeen.
Prior to revealing his top picks with fans, Tyler spent the week in Nashville as tens of thousands ventured to Music City for a week of live performances during CMA Music Fest. On Wednesday (6/6), the CMT Listen Up 2018 artist took to their branded-outdoor stage downtown for the eager devotees who arrived in town early to catch their beloved artists. Tyler then hit the CMT Music Awards red carpet and had a special reunion with NBC’s TODAY co-host Hoda Kotb. With multiple performances on tap throughout last week, Billboard listed Tyler as one of the 15 Best Moments From CMA Fest 2018, noting “The Yuba City, California native had one of the weekend’s biggest Broadway Stage crowds…”Tyler will also take the stage at more festivals such as Boots & Brews Country Music Festival (6/12) and Country USA Festival (6/21) while previously joining the bill with Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Justin Moore, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay.
The saccharine aficionado rounded out the weekend with more sweet news … “The Difference” scored the No. 1 spot on SiriusXM The Highway and crossed over 10 million streams. His first single on The Valory Music Co. – written by Rhett Akins, Ben Burgess, Devin Dawson and Jacob Durrett – captures the sentiment of Tyler’s real-life romance. The music video brings the lyrics to another level as Tyler and fiancée Sabina Gadecki reenact their courtship alongside their dogs Abby and Charlee.
