ICYMI: JACKSON DEAN RELEASES APPLE MUSIC NASHVILLE SESSIONS

Performs “Fearless” on GMA3 Ahead of Sold-Out NYC Show

NASHVILLE, TN (October 12, 2023) –Ahead of a sold out show in NYC, Jackson Dean made his debut on GMA3 to perform his current Top 30 (and climbing) single “Fearless (The Echo) and released three tracks via Apple Music Nashville Sessions. Recorded in Apple Music’s studio in Nashville, Jackson performed a cover of the hit “When A Man Loves A Woman,” an unreleased original “Train” and “Heavens to Betsy,” a fan favorite that had only ever been released on his spellbinding Live At the Ryman album. The Nashville Sessions are available exclusively on Apple Music, in Spatial Audio.

“’When A Man Loves A Woman’ is a classic. It’s one of the great love songs of all time. The way Percy Sledge sang it — almost breaks your heart,”  said Jackson Dean. “I’d been thinking about covering it for a long time now because it’s one of my parents’ favorites, so that one was around a lot as a kid. Easy choice when Apple Music came a-knocking—we’ve also been playing ‘Train’ live for a while so I’m glad we get to share that one with folks too.”

Each of the Apple Music Nashville Sessions were recorded as a full take, demonstrating the 23-year-old’s impressive vocals and raw live performance with a “style that contains zero electronic trickery” (Journal Star). Steadfast in his craft of making unfiltered, instantaneous music, the “sensation-in-the-making” (American Songwriter) and his band took the stage in front of a sold-out New York City crowd, treating fans to an hour-long set full of vigor with a mix of songs from his critically acclaimed debut album, Greenbroke, a full band version of “Train” and a roaring cover of Fred Eaglesmith’s “49 Tons.”

Wrapping up summer tours with artists like Eric Church and Luke Bryan, Jackson will make his Australian debut later this month before joining Jon Pardi out on the road. More information including tour dates can be found at www.JacksonDeanMusic.com.
