NASHVILLE, TN (December 8, 2021) – Known for his old school, gritty style of Country, JACKSON DEAN has a daring and carefree spirit, bringing a sense of adventure to his songwriting. The swampy, stomping “Don’t Come Lookin’” is a testament to his raw knuckle approach to music, and fans will now have the chance to catch it on Paramount Network’s YELLOWSTONE on Sunday (12/12) at 8/7C. Written by Jackson Dean and Luke Dick, the song was also featured on Netflix’s THE ICE ROAD soundtrack earlier this year.
With the release of his debut collection JACKSON DEAN (Big Machine Records), Jackson captures the granular reality of the life he’s lived without dropping into cliches or bloated bravado. The result is a kind of Country that’s rough on the outside, seeking when you listen and grounded in real instruments played with a sense of purpose. Not one to apologize for where he’s been or what he’s done, everything he sings or brings to the table is about showing people how real music can be.
Wrapping a busy year which included touring with superstar acts like Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and Brantley Gilbert as well as an exclusive interview and performance in the GRAMMY Museum’s Spotlight Saturday program (watch here), Jackson is set for an even bigger year in 2022 with cutting-edge new music and rocking performances.
