NASHVILLE, TN (January 27, 2022) – LACI KAYE BOOTH has her heart on “shuffle” with the music video for her debut single – watch now. Giving fans a first look via CMT on Wednesday, the playful video shows Booth in a record store, losing herself in the pure joy of listening to her favorite music. Surrounded by suitors, she doesn’t have interest in romance as she only has eyes for the music around her. Until, that is, she finds someone to share her love and appreciation of music with. Paying homage to the strong women who’ve influenced and inspired her, Director Chris Beyrooty gives a nod to the lyrics, which Laci co-wrote alongside Derrick Southerland and Sam Ellis.

“With this video I hope people can see how much I admire and appreciate music of all eras and of all forms.” Laci tells CMT. “I am an artist, but most importantly I’m such a fan of music at heart and I hope that’s something that’s visible and that I can share with my fans. I could’ve never made it to this point of my life without the incredible influence of the women of country music.”

As one of the newest members of CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2022, Booth has received  a warm welcome from radio with her unique “dreamy Country” sound, making it unmistakable why she’s been coined “Country music’s next superstar” (People).

While fans nationwide may have come to know and love Laci Kaye Booth on the American Idol stage, the Nashville-by-way-of-Texas newcomer reintroduces herself with her self-titled collection out now via BMLG Records/19 Recordings. With her deeply personal and heartfelt lyrics, Booth showcases all the facets of herself as she blends her raw and velvet-like sound with the echoes of her Country influences. The 25-year-old artist has already made a name for herself and grown a dedicated fanbase as a season favorite competing on Season 17 of American Idol and after placing in the Top 5, she took the leap and moved to Nashville to fully immerse herself in writing and Country music. After meeting with Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen of Big Machine Label Group, she knew she found her label home with them, 19 Recordings and her producer Dann Huff. Through word of mouth in the Nashville songwriting community she quickly proved herself and became a sought-after artist to work with. Recently named as part of Sounds Like Nashville and Country Now’s Artist to Watch Lists for 2022, she will soon be an identifiable voice in Country music – one that makes you turn the volume all the way up, because you’ve simply never heard anything like her before.
