NASHVILLE, TN (April 25, 2022) – Writing authentic and emotionally resonant music that connects with the newest generation of Country listeners and beyond, ABBEY CONE releases her debut collection HATE ME, out now via The Valory Music Co. Highlighting Abbey’s individuality that expresses a palpable realness and vulnerability listeners can feel across each song, HATE ME perfectly covers the full spectrum of love and is a true representation of her impressive artistry and clever songwriting as she co-wrote and co-produced all six tracks. Featuring heartfelt “Rhinestone Ring” and breakup anthem title track, never-before-heard song “The One” captures a moment in time when you know you’ve found true love. Watch the official music video for “The One” here.
Abbey shared, “My co-producer, Nathan and I have super different musical influences. His being more Jackson Browne and Third Eye Blind, and mine being more Shania Twain and Lee Ann Womack. In the studio, all of that energy combined really comes out sounding exactly how it does in my head. To me, the feeling is most important and I’m so proud of how we captured that for this project.”
Fans and critics alike embrace HATE ME with early praise:
