NASHVILLE, TN (February 28, 2020) – Reopening one of the most historic honky-tonks for a one-night only show last October, MIDLAND brings their critically-acclaimed event to fans worldwide with the release of MIDLAND LIVE FROM THE PALOMINO via Big Machine Records. The 10-track collection was performed in front of fans, media and industry insiders, who filled the iconic venue.

Variety raved, “The group’s recent sophomore album, LET IT ROLL, provided a head rush of a neo-vintage good time that finds its most natural live home in a slightly seedy confined space, but which shouldn’t be begrudged its chance to turn theaters and arenas into dives for a night.”

Midland captured a behind-the-scenes look at the Palomino Club’s magic with an accompanying video for “Fast Hearts & Slow Towns,” also out today: https://midland.lnk.to/FHAST_LFTPPR.

LET IT ROLL, Midland’s No. 1 Billboard Top Country Album debut and second critically lauded project, is filled with plenty of drinking songs, cheating songs and seduction songs. NPR noted the trio “Evolves Its Vintage Sound” while Esquire proclaimed their music, “as well-worn as the barstool its protagonist refuses to abandon—think warm, Dwight Yoakam-esque country and swirling, Laurel Canyon folk” and The Austin American Statesman praised, “the melodic twang of 1970s country-rock… reaching high above honky-tonk bounds.”

As they wind down their ROAD TO THE RODEO TOUR, the trio will kick off the Houston Rodeo & Livestock Show March 3 and hold court for a two-night, sold-out stint at Billy Bob’s in Ft. Worth beginning tonight. Next month they take their LET IT ROLL TOUR overseas before heading out this summer as special guests on Tim McGraw’s HERE ON EARTH TOUR.
