NASHVILLE, TN (December 3, 2021) – Neo-traditionalist trio MIDLAND returned to Nashville with back-to-back sold-out shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium this week. Before taking the stage last night to perform the hit, they celebrated backstage as the RIAA certified their chart-topping debut “Drinkin’ Problem” 3X PLATINUM. Midland co-wrote the song alongside Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, which previously earned a Grammy Awards® nomination.

Bringing their signature Country swagger and critically acclaimed showmanship to the iconic venue, Midland transported audiences back to their favorite honky-tonks with the lights down low as fans embraced an amplified 1970s retro vibe. Flowing through crowd favorites such as “Mr. Lonely,” “Cheatin’ Songs” and “Burn Out” plus new single “Sunrise Tells The Story,” Midland brought in special guest John Osborne on Wednesday night (12/1) for a surprise performance of the unreleased “Paycheck to Paycheck” from their forthcoming album.

Midland will continue THE LAST RESORT TOUR this weekend with stops in Charlotte, NC tonight (12/3) and Asheville, NC (12/4). The Dripping Springs, Texas-formed troupe has grown from bar band to an in-demand headliner, spending the past four years on the road with their own sold-out shows and as support for some of Country music’s biggest stars such as George Strait, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town.
