NASHVILLE, TN (February 15, 2019) – Today, Badflower release their newest track “Promise Me” off their debut album OK, I’M SICK, out February 22 via Big Machine/John Varvatos Records. The song’s expressive lyrics and smooth guitar riffs punctuate its message about holding on to love and the hope of youth. “Promise Me” is now available along with “Heroin,” “Ghost,” and “x ANA x” when fans pre-order the album. You can listen to the song here: https://badflower.lnk.to/OKIS.

“Promise Me” marks the fourth offering from the band’s highly anticipated debut album. The song was co-written by bandmates Josh Katz, Joey Morrow, Alex Espiritu and Anthony Sonetti along with Noah Shain who also produced the track.

Frontman Katz explains “This is probably my favorite song on the album. Not only because it’s a departure from what we normally do musically and lyrically, but because it really feels like a story with a beginning, middle, and end. It describes the feeling of growing up, losing youth and losing love – which is a simple concept that scares the hell out of me.”

Badflower has made headlines in the past year as they are nominated for an iHeart Radio Award for Best New Rock / Alternative Artist, scored a No. 1 with their song “Ghost” at Active Rock, racked up nearly 9 million views on the music video for “Ghost,” and performed the hit on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The song landed at No. 7 on Billboard’s 2018 Year-End Mainstream Rock Songs Chart and Loudwire proclaimed “Badflower could be one of rock’s next biggest bands” as they placed “Ghost” on their list of Best Hard Rock Songs of 2018.

Their current single “Heroin” is inside the Top 15 and climbing at Rock Radio as the band prepares to release their debut album OK, I’M SICK later this month. Upon release the song claimed No. 1 most added at rock radio in its first week and also landed the band on the cover of Spotify’s “Rock This” playlist with top placement. Earlier this week, the Southern California rockers performed a stripped down set of both “Ghost” and “Heroin” for fans on Billboard Live which can be viewed here: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72bgni?playlist=x5zkut.
