DRAKE WHITE NAMED CBS.com’s GRAMMY® ARTIST OF TOMORROW

NASHVILLE, TN (February 9, 2017) – Igniting a slew of support with his debut album SPARK, DRAKE WHITE adds another wild feather to his hat upon being named 2017 GRAMMY® Artist of Tomorrow. Thanks to his loyal following voting daily at CBS.com, White – nominated by Zac Brown Band – will be featured in GRAMMY Live prior to the awards show. The live stream will broadcast online across CBS.comGRAMMY.com and platforms through the CBS App leading into the 59th Annual GRAMMY® Awards telecast on Sunday, February 12.

“I am beyond honored to say that I am the GRAMMY® Artist of Tomorrow,” shared White. “A very big thank you to Zac Brown Band and the opportunities they have afforded us both on and off the road. This is a dream.”

Last night, White gathered a select group of fans for an intimate performance at AURORA Studios in Nashville, showcasing the talents that earned him a slot on Entertainment Weekly’s “10 New Artists Who Will Rule 2017.” Answering questions from Twitter and sharing stories behind his songs, the live-streamed event offered a nationwide online preview to White’s exhilarating live homecoming shows April 12 and 13 at Nashville’s Exit/In. The second date was added due to popular demand as the lightning entertainer proves “…there is nobody – and I do mean nobody – who does what Drake White does. And, if I do say so myself….he does it damn well” (Sounds Like Nashville). Full dates and ticket information for the SPARK TOUR 2017 can be found at www.DrakeWhite.com/tour.
