SPARK TOUR 2017 Continues Through June 2

NASHVILLE, TN (March 27, 2017) – Drake White brought his high-energy SPARK TOUR 2017 to sold-out crowds at New York City’s Gramercy Theater on Thursday (3/24) and Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Friday (3/25). Fans in the Northeast embraced his raucous 90-minute set. Alongside his band The Big Fire, the foot-stomping performer proved once again why Rolling Stone claimed he is “one of the genre’s most captivating live entertainers.”

In New York, Drake performed tunes from his debut album SPARK and had the packed audience singing along the entire time to Top 15 single “Livin’ the Dream,” “Heartbeat,” “Back to Free,” “I Need Real” and his current single “Makin’ Me Look Good Again.” Highlights of the nights came with a show-stopping cover of George Michael’s “Faith” and the closing number “It Feels Good.”

Feeling the room’s energy even after the lights came up, Drake came back out for an impromptu encore featuring his soulful “Waitin’ on the Whiskey to Work.” It was a perfect ending for his loyal following, the Firestarters, who waited hours in the cold for a prime spot next to the stage to see the magic up close.

AXS said of the performer following the show, “Drake White wasn’t born a star. But he was born with a whiskey-soaked voice the monumental size of which can crumble mountains, part the Red Sea and send even the most high of dignitaries to their knees.”

Drake treks south over the next two months with a stop at the Tortuga Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale on April 9 before the SPARK TOUR 2017 resumes with back-to-back sold-out shows in Drake’s hometown of Nashville on April 12 and 13 at Exit/In.  For additional information and tour dates, visit DrakeWhite.com.
