Marano’s vivacious spirit is showcased as she belts about lyrics of finding a person whose unique energy encourages you to live in the moment, all while giving fans an irresistible and danceable beat.
The infectious track was penned by Jason Dean, Rami Jrade, Joe Kirkland, Asia Whiteacre and the song’s producer TJ Routon. Marano brings to life catchy metaphors like: “‘Cause when I look back on it / Life like the sonnet / A quiet kind of solitude / Tell me how’d you do it / You added the music / I never heard a song like you/ ‘Cause you’re my boombox baby / You can sing anything / Blow my speakers out with you.”

MTV boasts “…it’s exactly the kind of upbeat song you’d expect from Marano, who speaks with the enthusiasm of a camp counselor and whose optimism is contagious.”

The year is already hitting high notes for Marano who earned a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award nomination for Favorite Female TV Actress – Kids’ Show and is the spokesmodel for designer Sherri Hill’s Spring 2016 Prom Dress Collection. The host of Radio Disney’s “For The Record With Laura Marano,” chronicles her journey of launching her music career and chats with celebrity guests such as James Bay, Meghan Trainor, Zendaya and more during the weekly one-hour show. In the midst of it all, she prioritizes writing and recording new music for her upcoming debut album.
