NASHVILLE, TN (October 15, 2018) – Riley Green brings his electric live show directly to the masses, filming the music video for “There Was This Girl” with a crowd of fans in his home state of Alabama. The lucky crew joined Director Peter Zavadil to capture a special performance of Riley that showcased his roots and a sound that Rolling Stone Country calls “drinks-in-the-air Nineties country at an Alabama vs. Auburn tailgate.” Watch it here – https://RileyGreen.lnk.to/TWTGVideo.

His lead single has already reached top 25 at Country Radio. Riley co-wrote “There Was This Girl” alongside Erik Dylan with lyrics that reflect how simply a pretty smile can quickly grow into thoughts of buying a ring. “I like writing conversational songs, songs that come from things I might say every day,” says Riley. “And often I’d be talking about a girl and how she inspired me to do something to impress her. I think that’s a pretty relatable thing. A lot of guys have been through the same stuff.”

Currently on his headlining OUTLAWS LIKE US TOUR, Riley has quickly garnered praise with Taste of Country declaring,”Riley Green is the newcomer to see this fall,” and he “is clearly an artist on the cusp of stardom.”

Fueled with good-natured rebellion, respect for tradition and steady touring throughout the Southeast, his music has tallied over 51 million streams to date as he has built a fierce following on social media and at live shows.  Named one of Rolling Stone Country’s “Artists You Need to Know,” his recently released IN A TRUCK RIGHT NOW EP on BMLG Records was produced by Dann Huff. The project highlights his songwriting capabilities with relatable songs such as “Same Old Song,” “Break Up More Often” and “In A Truck Right Now.” For a full list of tour dates and more, visit RileyGreenMusic.com.
