SUPERSTAR MARTINA MCBRIDE TO PREMIERE “JUST AROUND THE CORNER” MUSIC VIDEO ON CMT MUSIC AWARDS TONIGHT

NASHVILLE, TN (June 8, 2016) –  Martina McBride will exclusively World Premiere the powerful new music video for “Just Around The Corner” during the CMT Music Awards, airing live tonight (6/8) at 8:00P ET/7:00P CT.  Following its debut, the Matthew Underwood-directed video shot in Nashville, will be available on CMT, CMT Music, CMT.com, and CMT Mobile. The song, which is featured on Martina’s latest album RECKLESS (Nash Icon Records), serves as the official Band Against Cancer anthem – a community-based movement led by Sarah Cannon, the cancer institute of HCA, in partnership with Big Machine Label Group and Martina.

The hopeful lyrics and melody – penned by Cary Barlowe, Sarah Buxton and Sam Ellis – are accentuated with Martina’s iconic soprano, offering an uplifting spirit to the official anthem for Band Against Cancer: The Sarah Cannon Tour. “We all know someone going through a difficult time, especially so many of our friends in the community who are diagnosed with cancer,” says Martina. “And, having the strength and faith to know that there are better days just around the corner, is such an important message for us to share with everyone fighting this brave battle.”

The music video will also be featured on CMT One Country, which is a platform uniting Country music artists and fans with causes that can bring about positive changes in communities like Band Against Cancer.  The movement was created to connect people facing cancer with resources close to home. It is anchored by The Sarah Cannon Tour, which is made up of five special concert events with performances by Martina McBride and other influential Country artists throughout the fall of 2016, including Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Denver and Nashville. Further coverage of the video will also be spotlighted on this weekend’s edition of CMT Hot 20 Countdown, the networks’ most-watched weekly music program.

Tickets will go on sale later this summer, along with announcements for full artist line-ups, dates and venues for each concert event. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Sarah Cannon Fund at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Be The Match®, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP). Both organizations help families across the country who are currently fighting leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other types of blood cancers.
