NASHVILLE, TN (August 20, 2021) – Rising Rocker AYRON JONES ascends beyond his multi-week No. 1 “Mercy” with follow-up “Supercharged.” Already nearing Top 20 at Rock Radio the track comes off his critically acclaimed CHILD OF THE STATE (Big Machine/John Varvatos Records). As his headlining tour kicked off this week in Portland, OR, the singer-guitarist has also been tapped to join Shinedown on select dates. Additionally, Jones will  return to his hometown on September 19 for a special concert at the Seattle Seahawks opening game alongside Macklemore.

Jones’ debut  continues to garner praise in the Rock community and beyond, already named one of the best albums of 2021 by LoudwireAmerican Songwriter and Classic Rock Magazine

“This is the album that will take Ayron Jones from the Pacific Northwest to the mainstream. Child of the State, as a complete package, is astonishing. It rumbles, shakes. It includes thick riffs, lighting solos and raspy intimacy. In many ways, it also fits within the lineage of other heavy Seattle rock groups like SoundGarden and Alice in Chains. And, in a way, that’s very much on purpose.”
– American Songwriter

“This album catches you right from the first listen and doesn’t let up. The album opening swagger-filled “Boys From the Puget Sound,” the soulful desperation of “Mercy,” the chugging lead single “Take Me Away” and the live wire energy of “Supercharged” kick off the record on a definite high note. Meanwhile, the string-infused “Spinning Circles,” the raw “Baptized in Muddy Waters” and the triumphant closer “Take Your Time” make this an essential top-to-bottom listen.”
– Loudwire

“From the full-fat riffage and punk-blues vocal of swaggering opener Boys From The Puget Sound to the grunge blast of Killing Season, to the good old-fashioned raunch of Supercharged, this album feels like a showcase of every aspect of Ayron Jones‘ character.”
– Classic Rock Magazine

Initially gaining traction locally as an independent artist, Jones has truly become part of the fabric of his musical origins with opening slots for for Guns ’N’ Roses at the famed Gorge and B.B. King. A reach that now extends well beyond his Seattle hometown, he has played alongside Run DMC, Public Enemy, Rahkim, Jeff Beck, Theory of a Deadman, Robin Trower, and Spearhead. Jones recently performed at Love Rocks NYC live from The Beacon with a lineup including Jon Bon Jovi, Gary Clark Jr. and Sara Bareilles, plus is slated to join notable festivals such as Louder Than Life, Blue Ridge Rock Festival, Aftershock and Shiprocked.  For updates on Jones and  tour dates visit https://ayronjonesmusic.com/.
