RAYNA JAYMES AND DEACON CLAYBORNE OF HIT SHOW “NASHVILLE” SERVE UP IMPASSIONED DUET AHEAD OF NEW EPISODE

NASHVILLE, TN (February 8, 2017) – The first couple of “Nashville” – Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) – begin working on their new album together during tomorrow’s episode. They say old habits die hard so naturally, the drama-fueled pair grow frustrated with one another during a writing session over the trails and tribulations of their tumultuous relationship. Luckily for fans, they’re able to craft a perfectly impassioned song titled “My Favorite Hurricane,” which was written off-screen by tunesmiths Jillian Edwards and Jake Ether. The song is available on iTunes now.

Check out a preview of tomorrow’s episode here. “Nashville” airs Thursdays at 9:00P ET/PT only on CMT.

Since the show’s 2012 debut, Big Machine Records has released eight “Nashville” soundtracks. The music has collectively sold more than one million albums and five million single-track downloads with over 200 million streams to date. “Nashville” has also garnered multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice awards nominations.
