NEW YORK, NY (August 21, 2020) – In celebration of the one year anniversary of her critically acclaimed album THREADS, Grammy Award winning musician Sheryl Crow has released the dreamy new video for fan favorite track, “Lonely Alone” featuring Willie Nelson.  Watch the video HERE

“I wrote the song ‘Lonely Alone’ with Willie in mind,” says Crow. “It’s was written as kind of a barside cowboy noir with romantic Spanish inflections, but the song has taken on new meaning during these times. I hope people find the same comfort in this song that I have always found in Willie. I never feel closer to home than when I am singing with him – I know a lot of people feel the same way, even if they’re just singing along with him on the radio. I felt that this was the perfect song and the perfect sentiment to celebrate THREADS with.”

Upon release, THREADS received critical raves from an array of diverse outlets including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, PEOPLE and NPR “All Things Considered,” Sheryl Crow’s final studio album THREADS (The Valory Music Co.) arrived at No. 1 both on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart and iTunes Singer/Songwriter Top Albums Chart, after ascending to #5 on the iTunes all-genre US Top Albums Chart.
