NASHVILLE, TN (May 16, 2025) – The Jack Wharff Band are providing listeners with their most stripped-back and vulnerable offering to date with their new song “Richmond’s Most Wanted,” out now via Big Machine Records. A tale of a larger-than-life local “it” girl who has the whole town firmly wrapped around her finger, the track finds the narrator hopelessly hypnotized by her alluring spell. She may be dubbed “Richmond’s Most Wanted,” but the narrator wants her most of all – shackled in a voluntary incarceration of the heart.

Written by Jack Wharff, Evan Novoa, Ryan Atchison, and Beau Bailey, the track is a bluesy, passion-filled addition to the Richmond, VA, natives’ cohesive but well-rounded repertoire. Masterful instrumentation from band members Ryan Atchison, Garrett Howell and Evan Novoa is supported by Wharff’s impressive vocal performance that feels like it makes the world spin just a little slower.
“Richmond’s Most Wanted” follows the release of the bluegrass-tinged anthem “Washed” earlier this year and two 2024-released tracks: “Picture Perfect” and “Messed Up Kid.” “Balanced on the edge of blowing up in a big way” (Holler), the band is expected to release more new music throughout the year.
It was recently announced that The Jack Wharff Band will open on select dates of Ole 60’s U.S. Tour 2025 this fall. Additionally, the band will make their CMA Fest debut next month with a performance at the Good Molecules Reverb Stage at Bridgestone Arena on June 5 before hitting the road to play a number of fairs and festivals this summer, including Carolina Country Music Fest, Barefoot Country Music Fest and Summerfest.
