TUCKER BEATHARD ANNOUNCES HEADLINING EUROPEAN DATES FOLLOWING “WILD” FAN REACTION

NASHVILLE, TN (August 26, 2016) – Rising singer/songwriter TUCKER BEATHARD announced today that he will return for a second time this year to play a string of headlining dates in the UK and Ireland. Beathard continues to follow in the footsteps of very few others, taking on new audiences the best way he knows how…with just him and his guitar. Beathard will begin his headlining stint in Dublin, IE (12/3) and continuing to London, UK (12/4) as well as Glasgow, UK (12/5). Tickets go on-sale Wednesday (8/31) here.

Beathard’s prompt return follows a meaningful connection made just a few short months ago, during his first-ever shows overseas. Beathard took the opportunity to showcase the rare combination of a naturally reserved artist who is innately comfortable expressing himself on stage, and through his songwriting. Fans and critics alike were enthralled as Beathard “wowed the audience from the start with his stage presence, wit and, of course, good music” (Think Country) and Entertainment Focus predicted “the audience went wild for Tucker….it’s safe to say this will be the first of many trips to the UK for the singer-songwriter given the appetite for his music that was evident.”

“When I went over to Europe for the first time a few months back, I really didn’t know what to expect and if the audiences would ‘get’ me and what I’m about,” said Beathard. “I never really felt like I fit in growing up, until I found music as an outlet to connect and express myself. It was honestly an awesome surprise the way that the audiences over there really seemed to listen and engage with the songs. I just felt like something cool was happening and I knew I had to come back as soon as possible.”

With a quiet confidence Beathard’s debut single “Rock On” has captivated country radio, hitting the Top 10 this week, while fans continue to hit the repeat button as the track amasses over 16 million streams worldwide. A born road-warrior, Beathard continues “generally blowing folks’ minds with his catalog of heartbreak-heavy tunes,” (LNTV/ Vice) and with over 200 shows locked in for this year alone, has been on the road non-stop this summer opening up for Dierks Bentley as well as his own club dates.  Tomorrow (8/27), Beathard will play as part of the first-ever concert at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, IA with Blake Shelton. The venue is also home to Iowa Hawkeyes for whom his brother CJ Beathard plays quarterback. For more information and a full list of tour dates visit TuckerBeathard.com.
