NASHVILLE, TN (September 26, 2017) – Rolling Stone named him a new Artist You Need to Know, People captured his journey “From Red Robin to Hitting No. 1” and NBC’s TODAY marked his first national television performance, yet last night (9/25) a boy from Northern California solidified his Nashville status from the same stage as many Country legends before. As TYLER RICH stepped inside the iconic wooden circle at Grand Ole Opry, he officially debuted in front of the genre’s most dedicated audience.

“What an unbelievable night! I’ve never been more nervous and excited at the same time,” expressed Tyler. “I wish I could play The Opry every night; I can’t wait to come back!”

Opening his landmark appearance with the aptly-titled “Adrenaline,” Tyler’s excitement was clear from the first nerve-clinching note. He followed with the wistful “11:11” before juxtaposing the mood with his blissful single “The Difference.” The latter has proven to be just that, propelling to the No. 1 spot on SiriusXM, rising into Top 30 at Country radio and surpassing 23 million streams. Earlier in the day he joined The Highway host Storme Warren in studio to chat about the Opry and his new music before receiving a plaque commemorating his chart-topping song.

Tyler has grown his following through dynamic live performances and personal connections on social media so it came as no surprise he would document the night, taking over The Opry’s Instagram story and getting classic with a cover of fellow Californian Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried” for Facebook Live minutes before he took in the view from the behind the microphone. His Valory Music Co. label home, L3 Entertainment management family, mom, fiancée and grandpa surprised the bourgeoning star with a celebratory cake as Tyler walked off stage. But that wasn’t the only unplanned portion of the night – legendary actor Bill Murray was making his first visit to the venue as well, offering a dose of serendipity to the festivities for the movie buff musician. Tyler culminated the eventful evening at Opry Store signing his self-titled EP, which is available now at https://tylerrich.lnk.to/EP, and meeting new fans.

This fall, he will perform the tunes coast to coast with Brett Young’s CMT ON TOUR: HERE TONIGHT. For dates and more, visit TylerRich.com.
